Alert Level 2 Changes

From 26/12/21, all customers are required to adhere to 2M social distancing rules within the cinema. This means:

  • The maximum number of people that can sit together in a 'group' is 6. We will be required to split larger groups into smaller socially distanced groups within the auditorium
  • Full rows will be roped off, allowing for social distancing in front and behind
  • For more than 1 group sitting in a row, 4 seats must be left empty in-between groups
  • Our staff will be on hand to assist with socially distanced seating requirements
  • Social distancing must be maintained when moving around the building, queuing for tickets, and using the cinema shop
  • Toilets are operating with a '1 in / 1 out' system
  • The shop is operating on a '2 groups at a time' system

Demonstrating Your COVID Status

From 15/11/21, all customers over the age of 18 attending the cinema will need to demonstrate COVID status.

COVID status can be demonstrated in either of the following ways:

  • via the digital NHS COVID pass - people who are fully vaccinated in Wales can already download a certificate proving their status. The NHS COVID Pass lets individuals demonstrate their coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination records in a secure way NHS COVID Pass: prove your vaccination status | GOV.WALES;
  • a paper based certificate of vaccination – this does not include vaccination cards
  • confirmation of a negative test result by email or text provided by
  • confirmation of a positive test within the last 6 months which has been followed by the appropriate period of isolation i.e., 10 days) - this can be evidenced in the COVID pass or by text or email

Screen 1
Booking tickets online is strongly recommended. Due to the new social distancing requirements, the maximum seating capacity is greatly reduced. Films will sell out quickly. 
Screen 2
Booking tickets online is essential. The maximum seating capacity is extremely limited, with only enough space for a few groups at a time.  


The shop is open and selling all of our usual stock. There is a '2 groups at a time' system in place, monitored by our staff.

There are a few more things to remember...

When visiting the cinema, you must:​
​- Wear a face covering at all times when moving around the building (unless exempt). This includes entering, exiting, using the toilets, using the cinema shop and walking to your seats. You can remove your face covering once seated to enjoy the film, but you must wear it when you get up.
- Use the hand sanitiser station when entering the building.
- Follow any signage or directions present in the building.
