Frequently asked questions

Tickets & Booking

Do I need to book seats for film screenings in Screen 1?

Screen 1 currently has a capacity of almost 700 seats so there is hardly ever any need to book for film screenings. You can however use our online booking service to pay for you seats online.

Do I need to book seats for film screenings in Screen 2?

Screen 2 has a maximum seating capacity of 44 so it can fill up quickly during busy times or popular films. Booking is recommended via phone or using our online booking service.

Does booking online guarantee me a seat?

Your seat will only be held for 15 minutes after the advertised screening time so it’s important to arrive on time as Screen 2 can fill up quickly.

Can we bring a birthday party to a public screening?

Yes. The birthday boy/girl enters for free and is also given a small bottle of pop and small popcorn.

We’d like to book a private birthday party, how much is it?

Do you participate in Meerkat Movies?

We do not currently participate in Meerkat Movies. Instead we offer our own special deals as an alternative. See our full price list.

I’ve booked, where’s my seat number?

You can sit wherever you like. Pick your favourite seat, sit back, relax and enjoy.

3D Screenings

Are 3D film tickets more expensive?

No. 3D film tickets share the same prices as our standard film tickets.

Do we need to return our 3D glasses?

No. After purchasing your reusable 3D glasses for £1 on your way in, they’re yours to keep.

Can we watch 3D films without glasses?

No. 3D films will appear very blurry without the use of glasses and could possibly cause headaches and/or discomfort.

Can children wear 3D glasses?

Yes. We sell both adult and child sized glasses for 3D screenings.

Films

Will you be getting X, Y or Z film?

We keep our Coming Soon section regularly updated with a list of all films that are currently booked / confirmed. If a film that you want to see isn’t listed on that page, please contact us.

When will the film finish?

Running times are listed on our website. Visit our showtimes page and click on a film poster for more information. Our advert / trailer reel is usually between 15 and 20 minutes so please remember to factor these in if you’re planning to pick someone up after a film.

Can my child watch a 12a film?

Films classified 12A are not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film unless accompanied by an adult. Adults planning to take a child under 12 to view a 12A film should consider whether the film is suitable for that child. To help them decide, we recommend that they check the BBFC Insight for that film in advance.

Do you screen midnight premieres?

We often screen midnight premieres for suitable films, please check our showtimes or contact us for details.
